The Radical Climbing Festival centers individuals whose voices and bodies are not often represented as the face of rock climbing, yet are at the forefront of expanding access and affirming spaces for all climbers.

The gathering is designed as a space for climbers of color, adaptive climbers, LGTBQIA climbers with a specific focus on trans and nonbinary folks. The event brings together individuals for a weekend of learning, community-building, and of course, climbing.

We would like to acknowledge the land we stand and climb on during RCF. This festival will be held on the traditional and unceded land of the Abenaki and Wabenaki people. We challenge you to consider your privileges as you climb on this land, and to learn about whose land it is you stand on. Our existence outdoors will always be inherently politicized due to the history of this country. As you climb and enjoy this beautiful land remember to respect this land and follow Leave No Trace principles.
